Clear Acne: It's Easier than you Think

by Valerie Garner

Some skin care products want you to believe that they found the secret to acne, but they haven't. Treating acne isn't some well kept secret that can be treated with one specific product, it's actually a relatively easy process that anyone can do.

The best acne treatment is based on using the right cleansing routine. Most people will notice that their acne will clear up if they are just consistent with cleansing their skin twice a day. By adding effective acne fighting products to this routine, you'll be able to control your acne even better.

The Best Skin Care Routine

The right cleansing routine is not just about how to clear acne, but about improving the overall appearance of your skin. In fact, maintaining skin healthy will not only make you look good, but it will also help protect your body from infection and possible harm.

So, let's see what steps make up the proper skin care routine.

First of all, you should remove your makeup. An oil-free product is a good way to remove makeup. If you prefer you can use duo-phase products that work just as well.

The basis of any cleansing routine begins with a good cleansing product. If your skin is acne prone, then your cleansing product should be oil-free and contain salicylic acid. The salicylic acid will help control sebum production and unclog pores.

Follow up with an alcohol-free toner. If your cleanser does the trick, there is no need to use a toner. If you want to refresh your skin after cleansing then stick with this step.

After having cleansed your face and used a toner, finish off with an oil-free moisturizer. A light moisturizer is ideal for people with oily or combination skin because it absorbs quickly and keep your skin from feeling too oily.

For most individuals this basic routine is enough to help keep their acne under control, however, if you need extra help treating your acne condition you can use acne cream to target specific problem areas.

The Ingredients you should Look For

The ingredients used to make up your skin care products are very important. The most common acne fighting components include salicylic acid, sulfur, and retinol (a derivative of Vitamin A). These ingredients should be found in your cleanser or acne cream.

Salicylic acid has the unique ability to penetrate clogged pores and help dissolve them from the inside-out. Sulfur helps reduce oiliness and prevents clogged pores, as well. Retinol is excellent for acne and all types of acne problems.

In fact, the use of Vitamin A has also been known to help get rid of acne scars, unclog pores, modify the abnormal formation of keratin, and reduce the size of your pores. In essence, acne isn't a threat on your life, but when not treated properly it can lead to acne scarring.

Acne causes a different problems that can range from self esteem issues to acne scarring. However, by using natural products that contain snail serum, such as BIOSKINCLEAR, you can actually help control acne inflammation and avoid acne scars.
